I’ve seen widely loathed radicals win mayoral races in Chicago and Los Angeles in dubious ways. The LA race that gave the city Mayor Karen Bass had a whole lot of late-arriving ballots show up just in time twice.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I don’t believe that election was legitimate. I don’t believe this one in New York City, my two hometowns, was either.
Yes, ranked choice voting was designed to produce victories for fringe radicals. And yes, the media showered Zohran Mamdani with uncritical praise. Finally, putting up Cuomo, a widely hated figure, as the unifying anti-Zohran figure was the worst possible choice imaginable.
Sure.
But the polls I’ve seen showed Cuomo winning women, voters over 50, and black and Latino voters, and working class voters, while Mamdani performed well only with white young college educated voters.
NYC’s demographics have not tilted so dramatically that white hipsters are not a decided majority.
So two things might have happened here
1. The polls were wrong. It’s happened before.
2. The turnout for the Columbia for Hamas crowd might have been really high and really low for everyone else.
And those are the legitimate things. I don’t need to bother spelling out the illegitimate ones. But I don’t believe for one second this was a legitimate election. This was an election rigged by leftists in a series of ways, from ranked choice voting, to whatever actually happened today. It wouldn’t be the first time an election was stolen in the city. It won’t be the last. But it’s probably the first time it was stolen, not just by Communists, but by Islamic terrorists.
Mamdani . will be the next mayor of NYC and hell is coming with him. Good work New York!

What’s doubley scary is that 1)the majority of the electorate does not seem to care one way or the other about Israel, and 2)there are many ‘anonymous’ Israel/Jewish people haters who will absolutely vote for this guy.

I have a suggestion for the mayoral candidates who oppose jihad: Why not assume this guy will win.
Then choose one amongst you, set aside your lust for power, and throw your support behind this one of you to represent all of you against this guy.
Cross party lines to do this.
You will lose, votes divided, if you don’t consolidate.

NYC is so large and virtually ungovernable it may be time for several of the boroughs to secede. I can’t imagine that Queens and Staten Island are as crazy left as Manhattan, Brooklyn, and the Bronx. If parts of states can break away in uber left states like Oregon and California, why not a city?
SI voted overwhelmingly for secession in the same election that brought Giuliani in as Mayor. But NY State was dominated by Democrats so secession died in Albany. SI votes also put Rudy over the top.
A lot of Mamdani’s support was from Astoria in Queens. Many white collar transplants new to the city are there and registered as Democrats.

I used to live in Golden Valley AZ, way up north. The elections there are definitely rigged by the CA carpetbaggers in Maricopa County.
Much of that state is a lost cause. There are only two Counties in the state which vote D-Bag but they control the whole state.
London and NYC are symbolic cities. Having Islamist mayors sends a signal to the world that the West is weak and cannot resist despite all the fancy weapons–because Western spirit has been destroyed. It reminds me the last communal election in Geneva, we vote every five years the municipal councils of the 45 municipalities, the first tour was Sunday the 23 March 2025. Monday the 24, we learned that a candidate who was reelected Sunday was sleeping in jail since Wednesday the 19th. And it would be impossible to remove her legally, only if she is really found guilty and stay in jail, because she will move to another municipality, where the jail is. Wednesday a raid of cops entered in her house, and arrested the Green politicians, her husband, son and 8 more people in some others places, who were involved in one of the most gigantic illegal drug trade of the canton, selling cocaine, ketamine, ecstasy, Xanax, etc with about 100’000 CHF, in cash, the revenue of a month. The delivery system looked like one of a restaurant which covered the whole canton plus until Lausanne. I’m giving this example because the Greens are today one of the party which support Islam against the Jews, with the Socialists who hired Hani Ramadan in the 1980s and later Tarik Ramadan who was hired I think during the rulling of the Christian Democratic Peoples’ Party of that period, that must be checked.
